Abstract

Water lily is a currently relevant problem because it causes eutrophication of water reservoirs. For this reason, it is important to use it and not just treat it as waste. This work presents a viable proposal by combining it with other materials such as sawdust and starch to mold it and transform it from waste into a biodegradable material, without affecting the bioavailability of its components, using low cost and easy-to-develop techniques.
